What I'm Really Building

People sometimes ask what my job actually is. Some days it's strategy and spreadsheets. But the part I care about most is how it feels to walk through our doors.

I opened the first Massage Heights in 2004 because I wanted a place where people could get real care and keep coming back. Twenty years later, that still guides almost every decision: how we train our therapists, what we put on a guest's skin, how we support the people who own and run our locations.

I've learned that a calm space doesn't happen by accident. It comes from a team that feels valued, owners who feel supported, and a lot of small details done with care.

I'm grateful I get to keep building it, ups and downs included.
